A gentle, steady approach
Potty training starts at home. Once your child has had three to five days in a row in real underwear at home with strong progress, we pick right up where you left off.
Our classes head to the potty together about every 60 to 90 minutes, plus any time a child asks. A setback is never a failure, and it is never treated like one.
Why no daytime pull-ups? A pull-up works just like a diaper, and feeling wet is how little ones learn. Real underwear helps them get there faster.
| Not training yet | Diapers, changed on our regular schedule. |
| Actively training | Real underwear all day, ideally with a waterproof cover at first. |
| Not quite ready | If accidents keep happening, we take a short break in diapers and try again at home later. A reset is never a failure. |
| Nap time | Pull-ups at nap time only. We never use them during the day. |
